During the past week, we had the opportunity to explore Amicalola on the rainiest day. Despite the cloudy, muggy, and very wet conditions, the trip turned out to be incredibly cozy! The lodge buzzed with hikers seeking refuge from the rain, spending time near a warm fire. The rooms were impeccably clean and inviting. Surprisingly, even in the rain, the view from the room was nothing short of magical. There's something truly special about witnessing fog on the mountains. Even on the rainiest day, being on top of the waterfall in a warm lodge felt truly enchanting.
